A little about Pecan Springs Ranch Wedding and Event Venue....

We fell in love with this property in 2011 and felt that it would be perfect for us and our horses.  Life brings changes unexpectedly and we ended up not moving  and in 2014 it officially became a place for friends and family to come and spend a special day and we want to share its beauty with you!  Pecan Springs Ranch became a beautiful wedding and event venue in Austin, TX.

We have worked hard to keep the property as natural as possible, using materials found right here on the land. Even the original fireplace from the 1800’s has been reconstructed with rock found on the property as one of the ceremony spots.  We have also taken steps to preserve the 1800’s-era log cabin. We used reclaimed pine from the Bastrop fires as the exposed trusses in the main building, which makes it very special to us and our visitors.

The venue was created with a neutral backdrop in mind so that each couple can create their vision of their wedding and reflect their personalities.  We have seen everything from black tie affairs to kick off your shoes and stay awhile!  The main goal was to create a comfortable environment for your Big Day!

Pecan Springs Ranch "Drink Donkeys"

Exclusive to Pecan Springs Ranch our are very own “drink” donkeys!  Opie and Sassy have become a favorite of our brides to be invited to their weddings.  They are for rent for your wedding and we can guarantee your guests will LOVE them. They have baskets which will carry a beverage of your choice for your guest to get a cold drink.  When you book with Pecan Springs Ranch be sure and ask us about having Opie and Sassy at your wedding.

Wild Flowers & Amazing Wildlife

We have planted wild flower seed all over the 17 acres; this spring should be full of color, perfect for breathtaking photos. Native plants have been used in all of the landscaping to preserve the local flora, and we are doctoring a beautiful old oak tree to ensure it has a continuous long life. Of course, as you may tell from our name, there are many native pecan trees, and we see many pecan pies in our future.  In fact my Mother baked 20 pecan pies for her granddaughters wedding.

As if that weren’t enough, we even have wild turkey and deer everywhere on the property. They are beautiful to watch and photograph! Historic Love Shack

The historic log cabin is home to our LOVE Sign,  This area makes for a beautiful photos, DIY Photo Booth and just plain fun!
